Shoutbox for blog - will you consider this?

I have a website, it's actually a blog. I'd like it to gain more popularity and a friend of mine recommended that I use a shoutbox. This is a simple chat or people also call it cbox sometimes. It's made just to communicate with other people. To have it on your website you just need to embed the code, which should be simple.
